The Oban has arrived

Born in the Scottish highlands, inspired by artisanal iron forging. The Oban is our modern take on the classic sliding barn door. It’s inspiration dates back to the 17th century when Blacksmiths were widely revered for their craftsmanship and talent. From their hands, pieces of exquisite beauty were forged. And nowhere was this more iconically visual than in agricultural barns. Iron components offered strength, contributed to the rustic decor and became near on as important as the oak beams themselves.

In 2020, our fascination with barn-inspired bathrooms shows no sign of waning. And, The Oban was designed to celebrate this entirely. The slider shower door has a black metal forged frame enclosed around our 10mm toughened safety glass. We have extensively tested the new design, tweaking and altering the components over a year-long period. Our goal was always to create the smoothest glide, one that makes you appreciate the quality every single time you step inside the shower space. One gentle push is all it takes to slide open the reinvented glass barn door before stepping into a haven of relaxation.
