The Recessed Channel system is entirely unique to The Shower Lab. It partners with our Measure & Installation service to accommodate any tile and achieve a seamless installation.

The Recessed Channel USPs

  • The recessed channel includes a First Fix plastic guide profile (RFIX1) that allows the tiler to leave the correct void needed to receive the metal R12 profile.

  • R12 profile has been designed to not sit deeper than the water membrane.

  • A telescopic system that adjusts to a wide range of tile and adhesive thicknesses

  • R12 flanges are designed to cover untidy tile/RFIX1 profile cuts and joints

  • R12 profiles allow for a ±3mm adjustment.
