Job Summary
In light of the company's recent acquisition, we are now looking to recruit a Technical Sales Lead .This full-time permanent role will be based out of our offices in Grays, West Thurrock, and will report to the Commercial Operations Director.
The ideal candidate will have experience in technical after-sales & customer service
Responsibilities:
· Interpret technical drawings, answer queries from designers/architects and attend meetings on-site when required.
· Manage all aspects of the order processing, bespoke glass ordering, and installation functions
· Manage and improve internal processes (Continuous improvement)
· Scheduling and prioritisation of orders (Sales and Warehouse)
· Ensure quotations, confirmation lead times and installer dates are met
· Provide reports on the impact of errors to the line manager on a weekly basis.
· Support installation teams , fitters and customers with technical queries and provide work around solutions
· Create and maintain database of Technical Documentation (Training sheets / Spec sheets / DOPs)
· Manage Team KPIs (OTIF)
· Build positive and supportive relationships with all members of staff
The ideal candidate:
· AutoCAD 2D and Smart Builder experience (or similar software)
· The ability to interpret technical drawings
· Experience within the bathroom/building sector
· Highly organised and self-motivated
· The ability to interpret and extract data from architect's floor plans
· Technically and practically minded
· 3 years’ experience within a similar role
· Full clean driving license
· Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages- Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-point.
